1.Assessment of lightweight construction, access panels, & hoppers to fire resisting shafts, fire seals protecting openings in fire resisting components of the building and any other passive measures only includes a non-invasive visual inspection and where required, asset listings, plans and registers must be provided prior to attendance.
2. Our price for flow testing of Fire Sprinkler and Hydrant Systems assumes that the relevant design detail is available, usually displayed on the Block Plan. The price does not include for calculations or design work.
3. Tanks (water storage tanks) – The annual inspection of tanks is limited to checking to ensure the tank is full, the float valve operates, for signs of water leakage, damage, corrosion and the condition of components. The inspection will be carried out externally.
4. Fire Alarm System – Excludes fire panel and EWIS battery load testing, calculation upgrade or replacement.
5. Extinguishers – Excludes the annual internal inspection of AFFF Extinguishers, general pressure testing or replacement unless directly specified.
6. Emergency / Exit Lighting testing – The price is based upon all emergency and exit luminaires and fittings within the property being tested concurrently. If access is not provided or available during the agreed dates and times or we are unable to test due to the lack test facilities, additional and costs will be applied and quoted or invoiced as applicable.
7. Total package – This quotation is a total package, part acceptance is not available, please request a revision should part acceptance be required.
8. Notification of occupants – Price excludes notification of occupants, owners or other entities of forthcoming inspections, tests or repairs – this will be the responsibility of others.
9. Parking – We assume that cost-free parking is readily available, either on site or on the public roads within the immediate vicinity of the premises. If we are required to pay for parking during any required attendance to the premises, these costs will be charged with no markup.
10. For the purpose of this quotation, we have relied solely on the information provided to us by the Owner or the Owner’s agent at the time of quoting. If correct and up to date information such as plans, matrix, schedules, details, reports and data are not provided to us then we will not take responsibility for any errors or damages resulting from erroneous testing, inspection, maintenance or assessment. The agreement does not include for testing, inspection, maintenance or assessment of any hidden, undisclosed, or concealed measures, services or equipment.
11. Certain measures require baseline data and records to be provided and maintained in accordance with their relevant standards. We take no responsibility for the locating, provision, storage, maintenance, production or reproduction of these records and data.
12. Consumables such as maintenance tags, anti-tamper seals, oil and fuel, bunding, refills, globes, tubes, batteries, logbooks and lamps etc are excluded from this price.
13. Interface testing or access with other specialist services such as mechanical SIT, lifts – shaft access, stretcher facility and doors, automatic fail-safe devices is excluded from this price.
14. Replacements, upgrades, adjustment or augmentation of any equipment whatsoever are excluded from this price.
15. Water supply proving test of fire hydrants, sprinklers, town mains and other relative systems such as flow or hydrostatic testing are excluded from this price unless directly specified. Note: Certain tests may be a mandatory requirement.
16. Asset logging, labelling or listing is excluded from this price.
17. Return visits, extra testing, inspections or assessments required due to missing data or failure to provide access as arranged are excluded from this price. A $150+gst re-attendance fee will apply if access to all necessary areas of the site, including tenant apartments, is not granted.
18. The price is based upon all works being undertaken between the hours of 6:30am and 3:30pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Any works required to be performed outside of these ours will incur an extra charge.
19. The quotation is valid for thirty (30) days from date of provision.
20. Payment: Full payment due strictly fourteen (14) days from date of any invoice.
21. This agreement shall commence in the date stated on the attached Agreement for the period stated therein and shall continue unless terminated by either party by giving not less than 90 days written notice. It shall be automatically renewed at the expiration of the stated period for a further annual period unless said notice of termination is given in writing. The price is subject to annual review and adjustment in accordance with CPI ABS64 and other factors.
22. In no event will Full Range Fire Safety be liable for indirect, consequential, special, speculative or remote damage of any kind. In the event of a breach of this agreement by Full Range Fire Safety, which Full Range Fire Safety fails to remedy after reasonable written notice thereof by the customer, then the customers’ sole remedy shall be the return of the agreed price of these services.
23. Please note that we have allowed for continuous, uninterrupted access to all fire safety measures on the agreed day and time for the above tests. If access (to all areas) is not available during the agreed times then re-attendance including a chargeable fee may be required. Our costs will be billed as per the hourly charge out rates applicable at that time.
24. Full Range Fire Safety takes no responsibility for fines issued to the building owner for late submission of Annual or Supplementary Fire safety Statements.
25. Provision or hire of access equipment for anything over three meters in height is not included in this price.
26. Parts and labour to repair damages caused by environmental conditions, vandalism and electrical surges, negligence by other, misuse, floods, acts of G-d / force majeure are not included in this price.
27. Non-routine investigative activities are chargeable and will be billed at an hourly rate and/or quoted, depending upon the agreed terms and their size or urgency.
28. We take no responsibility for non-conformance, non-compliance, faults or defects, nor are these grounds for dismissal or non-payment.
29. Three, five-, six-, twenty-four- & twenty-five-year activities, overhauls, inspections and testing are not included and will be quoted as required.
30. We accept no responsibility for the efficiency, structural or hydraulic adequacy of any on-site drainage or pipe work used during testing.
31. Quotes supplied are confidential and may not be used for tendering purposes.
32. Testing of backflow prevention devices is not included in this price.
33. No allowance has been made for costs, which may be incurred resulting from the presence of asbestos.
34. The agreement is only valid if a current, correct and up to date schedule of essential fire safety measures is provided at the time of quoting.
35. Routine maintenance agreements will operate on a billing cycle of monthly payments made in advance, unless otherwise agreed. The billing cycle consists of 12 monthly installments, which represent the total annual lump sum provided in the agreement. Monthly payments for services are amortized over the contract’s billing cycle. In the event of service termination, the final payment may be adjusted—either higher or lower—based on the actual services performed and a true calculation of the outstanding balance.
