1. All work to be carried out during normal business hours (7.00am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday) unless specifically stated otherwise.
2. This quotation is a total package; items cannot be separated. Please request a revision if separation is required.
3. Our quotation is open for consideration for a period of 30 days from the date of submission and thereafter we respectfully reserve the right to revise our quoted price or withdraw our quotation without penalty.
4. All works will be carried out in accordance with the WH&S Act.
5. Electrical prices assume power is capable of being isolated.
6. Where others complete repairs, AFSS may not be endorsed unless evidence is provided and/or an assessment is undertaken post completion. A fee may be chargeable for re-assessment.
7. Price excludes Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) insurance. Insurance is available at an additional fee if required.
8. Price is based upon reasonable access being available to all areas. Waiting time and return visits may incur an extra charge.
9. Pricing is based upon access heights not exceeding 3 metres unless stated otherwise. Required access equipment may incur an extra charge.
10. Installation or repair of any equipment may cause damage to surfaces, equipment, or paint around the installed item. All possible care will be taken. However, Full Range Fire Safety takes no responsibility for the condition of surrounding surfaces or equipment.
11. Fire door prices are based on re-use of existing door hardware. Should equipment be defective or noncompliant, replacement will be charged additionally.
12. Fire Door installation doesn’t include painting/patching of doors/walls or frames.
13. AS3786 smoke alarm installation includes for up to two meters of surface mounted conduit or ducting, or two meters of cabling fed through an openly accessible space and only if an unswitched active is present at the point of connection. Work to feed power from sources over two meters away is not included.
14. Detection, sprinkler, and alarm system installation does not include connection to, or supply of, monitoring equipment.
15. Parking – We assume that cost-free parking is readily available, either on site or on the public roads within the immediate vicinity of the premises. If we are required to pay for parking during any required attendance to the premises, these costs will be charged with no markup.
16. Wiring installation does not include chasing of cables, locating of cables, or concealment within the fabric of the building. All services will be surface mounted in conduit or duct unless otherwise specified in the quote.
17. Price is based on the water supply being able to be shut off effectively.
18. During any testing or repair, we accept no responsibility for the efficiency, structural, or hydraulic adequacy of any on-site drainage or pipework.
19. This quotation specifically excludes the upgrading of any switch boards, power feeds or supplies unless otherwise specified and relies upon using the existing equipment and incoming supply.
20. Twelve (12) months’ warranty is provided on all new parts and labour from the date of commissioning (subject to standard warranty conditions).
21. Quotes supplied are confidential and may not be used for tendering or supplied to competitors for comparison.
22. We have not allowed for bolection or any other type of mouldings on doors.
23. No allowance has been made for costs which may be incurred resulting from the presence of asbestos unless clearly specified.
24. No responsibility is taken for any damage made to concealed or unlocated services.
25. Warranty is conditional upon the building being maintained to Australian Standards and Full Range Fire Safety’s Warranty Conditions, a copy of which can be provided upon request. Please note that doors greater in height than 2100 and width of 900 are not covered for bowing.
26. Should access be denied and a second visit is necessary, this visit would be chargeable.
27. Non-complying hardware on door sets will not be installed.
28. We cannot guarantee that existing hardware, once removed and then refitted, will function correctly.
29. We have not allowed for new signage; we have allowed for the removal and replacement of existing signage on doors, where possible.
30. Cancellations: should an order be cancelled with insufficient notice, any costs related to the purchase of materials and time spent to date will be charged.
31. Full Range Fire Safety shall not be liable for any loss, or any delay, injury, or damage, whether direct or consequential that may be caused by conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, act of Government, strikes, lockouts, fire, explosions, theft, riot, civil commotion, malicious mischief, or force majeure of any kind.
32. Excludes any works other than those outlined in the quotation.
33. Excludes faults or defects with or repairs to any existing equipment other than directly specified.
34. Excludes any building works or equipment damage due to water leaks.
35. If undisclosed asbestos is discovered during works, all staff will be removed from site until rectification works are completed and clearance is given to return to the site. The customer remains responsible for any costs related to this including health related costs.
36. Excludes any repair or replacement of any hazardous materials, damaged, or deteriorated system components.
37. By accepting this quote, you agree to a $150+gst automatic reattendance fee if access to all necessary areas of the site, including tenant apartments, is not granted. This fee will be charged for each subsequent visit, ensuring that the job can be promptly rescheduled without requiring further approvals.
Full Range Fire Safety provides 24-hour a day emergency service technicians and repair crews. Emergency service and call-out works shall be charged at an hourly rate (minimum charges apply). Any parts or equipment required will be charged separately.
